National Preparedness Month is sadly coming to an end; however, we should always keep in mind that disasters occur when you least expect them to. Let’s keep the trend going, and step right into Fire Prevention Week starting October 8^th! The theme this year is “Every second counts; plan 2 ways out!” To us here at SERVPRO, we believe this means that everyone should have a fire escape plan in place in case of an emergency. We mean it when we say that SERVPRO of El Dorado Hills/Placerville cares about its community. We recommend that you practice your fire escape plan at least twice a year with the members of your home or business so that everyone remembers exactly what they should and shouldn’t do in case of a fire.
